In Traverse City, Goodwill Northern Michigan runs this location as both a retail store and a donation center. The organization also runs housing and food programs across the region. The clothing racks hold graphic tees, oversized jackets, flannels and wool blazers. Above the entrance, a bright blue tower carries a round "Good Happens Here" sign, and the doorway is marked as the way into both the retail store and an optical shop.
Donations come in through a separate donation door, which keeps the same hours as the store. The store is open seven days a week, with evening hours from Monday through Saturday and a shorter day on Sunday. Goodwill Northern Michigan also sells secondhand goods online.
