Store Owner Accounts, Plans and Billing

Claiming a store
If you own or manage a thrift store that already appears on ThriftStores.net, you can ask to claim it. We review each claim and may ask for proof that you run the store. Claiming is free. A claimed store is on the Free plan until you choose a paid plan. On the Free plan you can keep the store's name, address, phone number, hours and categories accurate and show one photo.
Adding a new store
Adding a store that is not yet on ThriftStores.net requires a paid plan (Basic or Pro). Each account can manage one store. You confirm that you are authorized to represent the store and that the information you provide is accurate.
Paid plans
- Basic ($19 per year) adds a store description, website, Facebook and email links, up to photos, and replies to reviews.
- Pro ($39 per year) adds everything in Basic plus up to photos, items for sale on your store page, enhanced placement and styling in search results and maps, and no other stores' sponsored placements on your store page.
The current features of each plan are described on our Add your store page. We may add, change or remove features over time.
Billing and automatic renewal
Paid plans are billed once a year in advance, in US dollars, to the card you provide. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Your plan renews automatically each year at the then-current price until you cancel. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any price increase takes effect on your renewal.
Upgrades, downgrades and cancellation
You can change or cancel your plan at any time from Plan & billing in your dashboard.
- Upgrades take effect immediately. You are charged the prorated difference for the rest of your current billing year.
- Downgrades take effect immediately. The unused portion of your higher plan is credited against your next renewal.
- Cancellation stops your plan from renewing. You keep your paid plan until the end of the period you have paid for, after which your store moves to the Free plan.
When a store moves to a plan with fewer features, content over that plan's limits (such as extra photos and items for sale) is hidden from your public store page, not deleted, and is shown again if you upgrade. Your store page itself stays on ThriftStores.net.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we and Stripe will retry it and notify you. If payment is not completed, your plan ends and your store moves to the Free plan.
Refunds
Plan fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where you were charged in error. If you believe a charge is wrong, contact [email protected] within 30 days of the charge.
Boosts
Boosts are one-time purchases that promote a store for the period you choose. They do not renew and are non-refundable once the promotion has started.
Owner content and conduct
You are responsible for the photos, descriptions, items for sale and review replies you post. They must be accurate, lawful and yours to share. We may edit or remove owner content, or suspend a store owner account, if it breaks these terms. We do not process sales between stores and shoppers and are not a party to them.
User-Generated Content Disclaimer
Any content, listings, reviews, images, or other materials submitted by users (“User Content”) remain the responsibility of the user who provided it. Thriftstores.net does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy or reliability of User Content, and we reserve the right to remove any User Content at our discretion without notice.
Right to Suspend or Terminate
We may, at our sole discretion, suspend or terminate your access to our website and/or mobile application, with or without notice, for any conduct that we believe violates these Terms and Conditions, applicable law, or is otherwise harmful to the interests of Thriftstores.net, other users, or third parties.
Changes to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website and/or mobile application, including features, services, or content, at any time without notice or liability.
Data Disclaimer
The administrators of this platform, as well as their respective directors, associates, and personnel, have not undertaken a process of due diligence to verify the accuracy of the information. Their role is limited to disseminating the information, and they do not accept liability, whether direct or indirect, for any injuries, losses, claims, damages, or associated indirect or consequential harms, including but not limited to lost profits or savings, arising from the use of any information or any deficiencies, inaccuracies, or defects in the disseminated information within the bounds of the Website.
Thriftstores.net, in conjunction with any Affiliates, disclaims any responsibility arising from your acquisition of third-party goods, services, or tangible properties based on the informational context of the Site. Thriftstores.net reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to rectify errors or omissions within any section of the Site or to restrict access to the Site.
Relying solely on the informational content featured on the Website is not advisable.
User's Code of Behavior
User agrees not to post on the website any content that (a) is libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, harassing, or threatening, (b) contains viruses or other contaminating or destructive features, (c) violates the rights of others, including protections of copyright, trademark, patent, trade secrets, or any right of privacy or publicity, or (d) otherwise violates any applicable law. User will not post on this website any links to any external Internet sites that are obscene or pornographic.
Any information that you provide to www.thriftstores.net must be true, complete, and accurate.
Reviews and Community Rules
These rules apply to reviews, review replies and anything else you post on ThriftStores.net or in the ThriftyPickers app. We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users: no harassment, hate, threats, sexual content, spam, or personal information about other people.
You can report any review, and block the person who wrote it so you no longer see their reviews. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules, and suspend or close the accounts of people who post it. To reach us, email [email protected].
