Delete your account

One account works on ThriftStores.net and in the ThriftyPickers app, so deleting it in either place deletes it everywhere.

Three ways to delete it

  • In the ThriftyPickers app

    Confirm, and the account is deleted straight away.

  • On this website

    Sign inAccountDelete account

    Type DELETE to confirm. Go to your account

  • By email, if you can't sign in

    Write to [email protected] from the email address on the account and ask us to delete it. We reply to confirm, and delete it within 7 days.

What happens to your information

Deleted

  • Your name, email address and password
  • Your Sign in with Apple or Google link
  • Saved stores
  • Reviews and review replies you wrote
  • Reports and blocks you made
  • Store claims and photos you uploaded
  • App sign-ins and notification tokens

Kept

  • Billing records we must keep for tax and accounting (held by Stripe), for as long as the law requires
  • Messages you sent to support, no longer linked to an account
  • View and contact counts on items for sale, which never recorded who you are

Deleting your account cancels any Basic or Pro plan at once, without a refund for the rest of the year.

If you manage a store

You choose what happens to the store page when you delete your account:

  • Keep the store page. It stays on ThriftStores.net as an unclaimed page, without your photos or items for sale, so shoppers can still find it.
  • Remove the store page. The page, its photos, items for sale and reviews are deleted.

In the app and on the website you pick this before you confirm. By email, tell us which you want.
