Donations are taken on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Everything brought in should come from a smoke-free home, with clothes washed, household goods cleaned and electronics in working order. Large furniture in good condition can be picked up from ground-floor or elevator-access homes once approved, though mattresses, cribs, building materials and hazardous items are not accepted. The store is open six days a week and closed on Sundays.
Indian Rocks Baptist Church runs the Largo shop as a ministry, and its sales fund ministry projects and mission trips both locally and around the world. Over 20 years, the store has helped give $21 million to more than 150 missionaries in 85 countries. Its name stands in bold white letters across a pale gray gabled wall.
