New 2 U Thrift Center in Seminole, Florida, is a nonprofit thrift store with a focus on children and families. It takes most small household items as donations. Furniture and other large pieces are welcome too, as long as they are clean and ready to sell. The building is painted orange and green, with a globe mural on one wall and bicycles often set out along the front walk.
For bigger donations, the store will pick up large furniture from homes close by on Tuesdays through Saturdays. A pickup needs at least four very nice large pieces, such as a sofa, a dresser or a dining set. Donations can also be dropped off at the store during the day, and the shop is open five days a week.
