Fletcher's Habitat for Humanity ReStore is run by Henderson County & Thermal Belt Habitat for Humanity, and the money it brings in pays for new Habitat homes. The stock includes home furnishings, appliances, building materials, doors and windows, flooring, tools, lighting, housewares, sporting goods and exercise equipment, plus books. Recycling these goods keeps usable materials out of the landfill.
Wooden dressers and chests of drawers share the sales floor with upholstered sofas and armchairs. Inventory changes daily, and items sell on a first-come, first-served basis. Donations of household furnishings, appliances and building materials are accepted by appointment. The ReStore also takes volunteers to work on the retail floor. The store is open five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday.
