The Charlie's Angels Animal Rescue Thrift Store in Fletcher, North Carolina, puts every sale toward Charlie's Angels Animal Rescue, a western North Carolina nonprofit of volunteers that saves adoptable dogs and cats. The stock changes constantly and covers housewares, pet supplies, furniture, jewelry, clothing and more. The store is open five days a week and closed Sundays and Mondays. On its bright blue walls the word "puppies" stands in raised letters above shelves of lamps, framed art and glassware.
Donations are taken Tuesday through Saturday during store hours at the furniture and home decor space, and nothing should be left outside. Accepted items include clean seasonal clothing and shoes, books and media, working small electronics, tools, garden goods, kitchenware, china sets, vintage pieces, purses and hats. Mattresses, computers, older TVs, pillows, light fixtures and large appliances are not accepted.
