Every piece of costume jewelry sold at Second Impressions helps keep bread ovens running. All proceeds from those sales go to Cross to Light, which runs ten ovens at church plants in Haiti that feed hungry people every week. This family-run, ministry-driven resale shop in Lake Forest also supports the Homeless Ministry of South OC and Watts Outreach through Beyond the Rooftops, and it runs its own ongoing Haiti Project.
The 3,000-square-foot boutique-style showroom sells donated secondhand goods alongside new items, including clothing, accessories, home decor, kitchenware, furniture and jewelry. Out front, a long wooden planter of succulents sits beneath the "Resale for a Cause" window, with wine-barrel planters on either side. The doors are open seven days a week.
