Run by the Assistance League of Victor Valley, this Apple Valley thrift shop puts all of its proceeds toward the chapter's philanthropic programs, including Operation School Bell, which provides clothing to students. The group's volunteers also run Assault Survivor Kits, Operation Hug, Pass It On and Project R.E.A.D. Two cream-colored signs with the league's name hang above a tan stucco storefront under a long brown roofline.
All sales are final. Donations go to the back gate on shop days, with a limit of four medium-sized boxes or bags per drop-off, and the shop also collects prescription glasses for the Apple Valley Lions Club. Doors open only on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
