Pet Partners Boutique & Thrift Shop raises money to help high desert residents spay and neuter their dogs and cats and reduce pet overpopulation. Unpaid volunteers run the Apple Valley shop. After expenses, all money from sales goes to spaying and neutering local pets in need, and residents are referred to area veterinarians who work with the program. The shop has been in business in Apple Valley for more than 35 years.
Volunteers accept, sort and price the donated items that fill the shelves. A dark sign with white lettering and a drawing of a dog runs above the front windows, which sit on a low stone wall. Payment is cash only, and the shop is open on weekdays and closed on weekends.
