Every purchase at this Rapid City shop supports The Club for Boys, which gives boys across the community a caring, safe place and reliable mentorship. The racks and shelves hold clothing, furniture, housewares, bedding, jewelry, antiques, appliances, electronics, decor and food. Its name runs in white script across a red gabled front.
Both individuals and businesses can donate, and drop-offs are taken during set morning hours with guidelines to follow before bringing items in. Shoppers can come in six days a week, and the store is closed on Sundays. Volunteer and job openings are available for anyone who wants to help with the Club's mission. The store has been running since 1989, and today the Club it funds serves more than 1,200 boys in the area.
