In Bridgehampton, The Retreat Boutique raises money for The Retreat, an organization working to end the cycle of domestic violence. All of the store's proceeds go to The Retreat, which keeps its services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking free of charge. Racks hold men's and women's clothing, designer pieces, accessories and handbags, and a Shoe Parlor carries footwear.
Donations are accepted during business hours, and donors fill out a short form so The Retreat can track in-kind gifts. The shop takes men's and women's clothing and shoes, accessories, and fine or costume jewelry in excellent condition. Sales run at the start, middle and end of each month, and the shop is open six days a week, including Sundays. Its gray gable holds a large half-round fan window above a white sign lettered in blue.
