Every sale of donated goods at the ARF Thrift & Treasure Shop in Sagaponack goes to the cats and dogs awaiting adoption at the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons. The shop sells new and used furniture, home decor and clothing, and its recent donations include antique dressers and settees, art glass, crystal and brass lighting.
The shop welcomes donations of furniture, decor and clothing in good condition but does not take electronics. Pick-up and delivery are offered within the Hamptons. The store is open six days a week, Sundays included, with late hours on Thursdays. A green-and-white sign with the ARF dog logo stands in front of the shop's shingled building, which has a gambrel roof and a white-railed porch.
