Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church in Bridgehampton runs The Exchange Thrift Shop, and its sales support the parish. Clothing for women, men, children and infants fills the shop, along with jewelry, shoes, gloves, hats, scarves, linens, blankets, household goods and small furniture. It opens Thursdays through Saturdays, and a tall bamboo-framed armoire with a mirrored door stands on its wooden floor.
The shop takes donations in like-new condition. Because space is tight, it accepts only small pieces of furniture. Owners of larger pieces can post a photo and an index card describing the item and its value on the shop's bulletin board, then sell it themselves and give the money to the church.
