Nashua, New Hampshire, is home to Lucky Dog Thrift Shop, the fundraising arm of Tails to Freedom, Inc. That organization has served New Hampshire since 2007, and every dollar of profit from the shop goes straight to helping animals across the state. Through its sales, the nonprofit raises money for animals in need, including pets facing costly veterinary care.
The shop is open four days a week. Its merchandise also sells online through a Poshmark closet under the Tails to Freedom name. Supporters can make monetary donations through the organization's online giving page, which also signs people up for the group's mailing list, called the pack. A featured pet appeal raises funds for one animal's care at a time.
