St. Joseph Hospital runs this Nashua, New Hampshire shop to carry on the mission of the Grey Nuns, who founded the hospital. Its sales support the underprivileged in the Greater Nashua community. The shop also works with local agencies to get essential items to people in need.
The racks hold clothing and everyday essentials for individuals and families, and the shop serves as a community resource that encourages giving and generosity. The Grey Nuns Thrift Shop is open six days a week and closed on Sundays. It sits on the ground floor of a pale three-story building, behind a deep red storefront with a white sign that carries the shop's name in blue lettering alongside the hospital's name.
