At the Treehouse sends all proceeds from its sales to patient care through Home Hospice of Cooke, Grayson and Fannin Counties, the only non-profit hospice serving that area. The hospice cares for everyone in its community, whatever their financial status. This resale store in Gainesville, Texas, focuses on home goods and carries housewares, furniture, home decor, books, toys, crafts and clothing.
The store is open four days a week, Wednesday through Saturday, and takes donations of those same kinds of goods in the morning on each of those days. Donors bring the clothes, housewares, toys, crafts, books, furniture and decor that later go back out to shoppers. The store's long white metal building has its name in large green letters, with red lettering below that reads donate, shop and support.
