Alongside donated goods, the Wake Forest Habitat for Humanity ReStore has a showroom of new cabinets, staffed by professionals who help customers plan kitchen and bath renovations. Habitat for Humanity Greater Raleigh opened the store in August 2015 as its fifth location, and all proceeds support Habitat's work building homes.
The floor carries furniture, appliances, building materials, home decor, hardware, light fixtures, and vintage and antique pieces. The stock changes daily as donations arrive. Items are marked down every two weeks. Donations are accepted at the back dock, which closes shortly before the store does, and pickups can also be scheduled. The store is open to the public six days a week and closed on Sundays. Its red brick front carries a white ReStore sign under a dark metal gabled roof.
