Habitat for Humanity of Ionia County runs this Ionia resale shop, known as the ReStore, and all of its proceeds go into the affiliate's housing work: home builds, home repairs and wheelchair ramps. Its shelves carry new and used building materials, appliances, electrical and plumbing supplies, tools, furniture and home decor, and the stock changes all the time.
Donations are handed to staff during business hours, not brought in through the front door, and the store also offers no-contact pickup. It takes working appliances, cabinets, countertops, flooring, doors, windows, light fixtures and bed frames, but not clothing, mattresses, toys, linens or baby furniture. The shop is open five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday, and volunteers help sort inventory, clean merchandise and pick up donations.
