Part kids' activity center and part thrift store, Kaaterskill Kids serves children and families in Hunter, New York, in the Catskills. Next to its thrift finds, it runs creative STEAM workshops for kids and puts together puzzle boxes. A kids club and family activities fill out the calendar, and memberships and special events are also offered.
The workshops and other programs run in the same space as the thrift store, so a shopping trip and a children's activity can happen under one roof. The shop sits in a tan block building, and the glass front door carries the Kaaterskill Kids Activity Center name in white and yellow lettering. Families come to the center for creative projects for children as well as secondhand goods.
