Used furniture, clothing, home goods, holiday items and small appliances fill the shelves at Finders Keepers, a thrift shop in Mount Morris, New York, run by Arc GLOW. Money from its sales goes toward the organization's work programs for people with developmental disabilities. The shop is open six days a week and closed on Sundays. Its sign has raised gold letters on a long slate-blue band across the front of an old red brick building.
The shop takes donations of clothing, home goods, furniture, tools and equipment, books, games, toys and knick-knacks. It cannot accept TVs, computers, cribs or household cleaning products. Donors can call to set up a pick-up, and the shop also welcomes volunteers.
