Giving Partners Thrift Shop has been run entirely by volunteers since 1978. Diablo Valley Giving Partners, formerly Assistance League of Diablo Valley, operates the shop, and its sales and community donations pay for programs that meet unmet local needs. The racks and cases hold clothing, shoes, jewelry, china and crystal glassware. Special sales throughout the year feature one category at a time, including jewelry, cashmere, sterling silver and silverplate, and holiday decor.
The shop is open five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday, and takes donations only during business hours. Donated items should be clean, in season, name brand, stylish and in good condition, without stains or holes. The white building has gray-green window frames and a gray-green door with an X-pattern on its lower panel.
