Run by Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley, the Temecula ReStore sells donated remodeling and home improvement materials, both new and used, to support the affiliate's homeownership work. Its stock includes paint supplies, lighting, tile, doors, windows, appliances, cabinets, sinks and toilets, and it changes every day as new donations come in. A charcoal band with white and teal Habitat lettering runs along the top of the white stucco building.
The store is open five days a week. Its donation center accepts most home improvement items that can be resold, such as appliances seven years old or newer, intact cabinets and tools. It does not take clothing, mattresses or upholstered couches. Donation pickups can be scheduled, and drop-offs close on rainy days or when the warehouse is full.
