A combined resale shop and donation drop-off, the Goodwill in Pleasant Hill, California, sells donated goods and takes in new donations at the same location. Revenue from its sales helps pay for the job training and employment programs Goodwill runs in the region. The store opens seven days a week and stays open into the evening on at least one of them. Large dark blue letters spelling GOODWILL stretch across the pale gray band above its entrance, next to the organization's square logo.
