In Tulare, this thrift store is run by Love INC of Tulare County, an affiliate of Love In The Name of Christ National that brings local churches together to help neighbors in need. Money from sales buys mattresses for the group's Mattress Ministry, which gives beds to people who have none. The shop is open six days a week and closed Sundays.
Donated goods include clothing, shoes, furniture, housewares, appliances, toys, bedding, decor, holiday items, TVs, books, craft supplies and sporting goods. Many of these donations go back to the community for free through a voucher program. The store cannot accept damaged or incomplete pieces, large entertainment centers or king-size mattresses. Its cream-and-maroon building has a blue sign that reads "Thrift & Boutique."
