Sales at the Methodist Thrift Shop in Napa happen on Tuesdays, during a season that starts on the first Tuesday of February and ends on the last Tuesday before Thanksgiving. The United Women in Faith of Napa Methodist Church run the shop, which sits off the church's garden courtyard. Volunteers staff it.
The shop takes donations of lightly used clothing and household goods, and the church keeps a written list of what it does and does not accept. Clothing, glassware and housewares fill the shelves. Inside, framed artwork lines the walls above long tables of linens and boxes of greeting cards, and table lamps stand along a back sideboard.
