Thrifting Away, a thrift store in Chico, California, fills its sales floor with both shelved goods and furniture. Tall black metal shelves hold glassware and home decor, with framed artwork propped along their top rows. A wooden dining set with high-backed chairs and a round cream armchair sit on the wood-plank floor, near a checkout counter faced in corrugated metal. The shop is open five days a week.
