Every purchase at Revivals in Palm Desert helps fund DAP Health, which provides free health care, HIV/AIDS prevention, mental health services and primary care for people who live in the valley. The resale shop takes in clothing, furniture and housewares and gives donated goods a second life. For more than 30 years, its sales have paid for community health care.
The store accepts donations every day it is open, and its doors are open seven days a week. Donors with large items or a full truckload can schedule a free home pickup. Volunteers can also give an hour of their time to the store. The stepped tan stucco building has terracotta and green accents, and an orange Revivals sign hangs above the entrance between tall palms.
