Wellspring Thrift Store pairs its sales floor with a donation center, and all profits from the shop go to community outreach run by Wellspring Church. The store is open five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday, and it describes its mission as providing resources and restoration to people in Indio and the wider Coachella Valley. It sits in a tan stucco building with a red clay tile roof.
The store takes donations of furniture, clothing, toys, books, jewelry and more during the morning and early afternoon of each open day. Donors can ask for a tax donation slip. For larger items or big loads, marked box trucks will pick up on weekdays. The volunteer team includes church members and people from the surrounding community.
