Run by Waller Assistance & Restoration Ministries, Warm Treasures is the thrift store of a Christian nonprofit in Waller, Texas, known locally as WARM. The ministry's mission is to express the love of Christ by serving people in need. It does that through a food pantry, a voucher program, emergency help with housing, utility and medical bills, and referrals. WARM recently marked its 21st anniversary.
Inside, rows of wire shelving hold dishware, pottery and mugs, with racks of clothing behind them and jewelry hung along a grid wall. The store is open Monday through Saturday and closed on Sundays. Donations are taken at a community drop-off on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays until the space is full.
