In Tyler, Texas, Hangers of Hope has raised money for Bethesda Health Clinic since 2013. Every purchase and donation helps pay for the clinic's low-cost medical and dental care for uninsured working people. The racks hold clothing and accessories alongside household goods, and the clinic's Runway for Hope fashion show and luncheon features outfits taken from the store. A red brick entrance tower holds a blue script sign naming the clinic it benefits.
The store accepts donations of new and used items that can be resold, and a pick-up service collects larger donations by appointment. Flawed pieces that cannot be sold are recycled and sent overseas. Every Tuesday is Hope Rewards Tuesday, a storewide discount day. The store stays open into the evening six days a week and is closed on Sundays.
