In Boerne, the Benedictine Sisters of Boerne, Texas run Sisters' Attic as a ministry of their monastic community, and its sales benefit the Sisters' Boerne ministries. The thrift store stocks clothing, furniture, housewares, books, children's items, specialty pieces and household collectibles. Credit cards are accepted, and the store is open five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday. Framed artwork fills bins and lines the walls of its long sales floor.
Donations of good, clean clothing, furniture and housewares are accepted, including dishes, glassware, baskets, collectibles and books. Drop-offs are preferred by appointment and are taken only during the earlier part of each open day. Volunteers are welcome, and gifts to support the store can also be made online through the Sisters' donation program.
