Run by Hill Country Family Services, Random Hangers in Boerne sells seasonal designer clothing, shoes, handbags and accessories. Its companion space, The Warehouse, carries art, household goods and gift items. New merchandise goes out daily, and the shop is open five days a week. The tan-sided building has a dark green sign that names both the thrift store and the warehouse.
Both locations accept donations of new and used clothing, household goods and kitchen items, and they sometimes take furniture by prior arrangement. Sales raise money for the agency to buy food from the San Antonio Food Bank and to pay for emergency help for local families in crisis. Together, purchases and donations fund half of the agency's programs and services.
