Shopping and donating happen under one roof at this Huntsville Goodwill, where donated goods are dropped off and then resold. The store is run by Alabama Goodwill. Every purchase and donation helps pay for job training, workshops, career services and job openings, with a focus on removing barriers and helping people succeed through learning and the power of work.
Donated items stay out of landfills, and that is a tracked part of the mission. The doors open seven days a week, and the store stays open into the evening on at least one of them. Its tall blue shingled front, with the white Goodwill name and smiling-G logo, stands out against the gray roofline on either side.
