Firehouse Antiques & Collectibles in Huntsville is open every day but Tuesday, Sundays included. Its stock changes daily. It covers more than 40,000 square feet of antiques and collectibles, from Victorian settees to vintage Barbies. Items come in from auctions and estate sales, and the store is always adding new pieces to its selection.
Vintage fire trucks are parked out front of this antique and thrift store. Inside, much of the merchandise comes from independent vendors, and the mall welcomes new sellers who want to rent space. Its motto, "Buy. Sell. Store.", covers all three sides of the business: shopping the floor, selling as a vendor and renting a mini storage unit, since the same company runs a storage operation alongside the antique mall.
