A charity thrift shop in Tanner, Mimi & Macy's raises support for Creating Hope For Paws, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue founded in 2023. The rescue works to keep rescued animals safe until they can be adopted into loving homes. Alongside the store, it runs adoption and foster programs for dogs and cats and relies on volunteers.
The shop accepts donated goods by appointment, and Mondays are set aside for drop-offs. Anyone with items to give contacts the rescue first to book a time. The store posts its current merchandise on its Facebook page. It is open five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday, and closed on Sundays.
