The United Church of Christ of New Smyrna Beach runs this thrift shop as part of its ministries and outreach. Its stated mission is to offer every item at a cost many people can afford. Church volunteers staff the shop, which opens six days a week and closes on Sundays. Stock changes daily, and the store is part of the Central East Coast Florida thrift store circuit.
Donations of clean items that work, or that have artistic value, go to a drop-off area at the back of the building. Donations are taken Tuesday through Saturday only, and donors can ask for a receipt for their tax records. A black sign over the covered entrance names the building Chapman Hall.
