A locally owned grocery and liquor store, The Local Market has operated in Breckenridge, Colorado, since 2011, and Mountain Thrift shares its name. Its shelves carry many organic, gluten-free and local Colorado products along with familiar standards. These include all-natural local meats, organic coffee roasted in Colorado and locally made ice cream. Everyday basics are stocked as well: snacks, drinks, fresh coffee, sandwiches, toiletries, medicines and cigarettes.
The attached Liquor Shed sells beer, wine and liquor. Out front, a wooden post sign spells out the market's name in yellow lettering, with "Liquor" painted in red below. The store opens seven days a week and stays open into the evening.
