Clothing for the whole family fills this Spokane Valley Value Village, along with dinnerware, accessories, books, housewares and electronics. A for-profit company runs the store, so purchases themselves don't benefit a charity. Its name stands in bold red letters across a cream-colored front. The doors open seven days a week, with evening hours. Every Tuesday is Senior Tuesday for shoppers 55 and older, and Super Savers Club members get their own members-only sales.
Donations are taken on site, including clothing and shoes, bed and bath goods, books and media, games and toys, small appliances, small furniture, sporting goods and electronics. Value Village accepts these items on behalf of Northwest Center of Seattle and pays the nonprofit for them, which helps fund its community programs.
