In Frankfort, Kentucky, the St Vincent De Paul thrift store turns its sales into support for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and that group's work helping neighbors through hard times. Both the shoppers who buy here and the donors who give to the store take part in that effort. The store keeps a short week, opening its doors only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
