All proceeds from the Humane Society of Yuma's thrift store go directly toward low-cost spay and neuter operations. Clothing, glassware, curios, furniture, pet supplies and books fill the shelves, with glassware and small pieces in lit glass display cases and rows of shoes along a tall wall rack.
The store always needs donations of quality, resellable items, and it especially needs furniture for its new location. Donations are accepted at the store during business hours, and pickup and delivery can be arranged. The shop is open six days a week and closed on Sundays. It also lets people volunteer for the Humane Society of Yuma without having to go to the animal shelter.
