The Society of St. Vincent de Paul runs this Tucson thrift store. The Society is a Catholic charity that helps people in need in 150 countries. In Southern Arizona it has 34 local conferences, and each one gives help directly, person to person. The goal is to meet people's immediate needs and offer hope for a better future.
The store accepts donated goods, clothing and furniture, and it has its own drop-off hours for donations. The Society can also pick up donations, and it accepts cars, boats and trailers. The store is open six days a week and closed on Sundays. Its red brick front carries a long white sign with the Society's logo and "Thrift Store" in large blue letters.
