Browse 'n Buy sells designer shoes and handbags alongside everyday clothing and household goods, and it runs as a mission of St. John's Episcopal Church. Its purpose is to help the Jackson community, and it keeps affordable necessities in stock for people in need. Its brown sign with white lettering stands under a small shingled roof on blue-gray posts and carries the Episcopal shield.
Donations come in all year during morning hours, Monday through Saturday. The store takes most clothing and household items as long as they're free of stains and tears, work properly and have all their parts. It doesn't accept mattresses, car seats, cribs, large appliances or hazardous materials. Keeping clothing and household goods out of landfills is one of its goals. The store is open six days a week and closed on Sundays.
