This nonprofit home-improvement thrift store is run by Treasure Valley Habitat for Humanity as a fundraiser. Proceeds support Habitat's work building and preserving homes. Its stock includes furniture, appliances, home decor and building supplies such as lumber, doors, windows, cabinets, flooring, tiles, plumbing fixtures, lighting, tools and paint. Donated building materials go into Habitat homes when possible, and the extra is sold to the public.
Donations are dropped off at the store on any of the six days it opens each week, Monday through Saturday. Residential pickups go through the partner service ReSupply. The store does not take clothing, books, dishwashers or anything worn past the point of resale. Volunteers 18 and older help run the store, and staff train them. Out front, metal rolling racks hold rows of glass light-fixture globes under a white Habitat and ReStore sign.
