Assistance League of Boise runs its thrift shop in Garden City, Idaho, and all proceeds go to the programs of this all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit. These include Operation School Bell, which provides new school clothes, along with Teen Retail, Operation School Supplies, Project Hearing, Baby Bundles, Brighter Image Wigs, Cinderella's Closet prom dresses, scholarships and the CARES Closet.
Racks of clothing fill the sales floor, and the shop also has a Kitchen Korner. A sign marks the Younique Boutique section, set under a bright blue banner that runs along the wall. Donations come in through a separate receiving area, and the thrift shop is open four days a week.
