Run by Goodwill Keystone Area, this nonprofit thrift store in Avondale has both a shop floor and a donation center, and every purchase and donation helps local community members seeking hope and independence. Furniture is among the donations accepted here. The red brick building has a peaked center gable and two arched green awnings, one over the store entrance and the other over a separate outlet center entrance.
The store and the donation center keep the same hours, open seven days a week and into the evening Monday through Saturday. At checkout the store takes cash, Visa, MasterCard and Discover, but not checks, American Express or digital payments such as Apple Pay or PayPal. Shoppers can join an email list for updates on sales and promotions.
