A locally owned and operated grocery store, Stadium Thriftway serves Tacoma's Stadium district with a full-service deli, a bakery, produce, a meat and smokehouse counter, and a floral department. The deli runs daily specials with a different prepared food each day of the week, and fresh sushi rolls come out every Wednesday, including California, Philly, vegetarian and spicy tuna.
The store publishes a weekly ad and offers catering, with platters and sandwiches among the options. Shoppers can join the Thank U Rewards program to clip e-coupons and earn rewards, and a special request form handles items not usually on the shelves. Its doors are open seven days a week, into the evening, and it closes on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
