Clothes, shoes, furniture, electronics and household goods fill the shelves at Hope Thrift Store in Clearwater, along with the occasional collectible. The shop is open six days a week and closed on Sundays, and its tan building carries a navy blue sign surrounded by bright, colorful dots.
Donations can be dropped off at the store or at the organization's donation sorting facility. A partnership with Resupply offers at-home pick-up, including for items the store won't take in person, such as mattresses, cribs and pianos. The store is part of the ministry of Hope Children's Home, and every purchase and donation goes directly to the care and education of more than 80 abused, neglected and orphaned children living at the home.
