The Society of St. Vincent de Paul runs this Clearwater thrift store, and its sales fund the Society's year-round programs. Those programs give furniture, clothing and household goods to families recovering from disasters, eviction or domestic violence. Families met on home visits get vouchers to redeem at the store. The stock covers clothing, kitchenware, furniture, electronics, books, records, tools, medical equipment and exercise gear. Donations go to a drop-off behind the building, and pickups can be scheduled for bulky pieces. Murals of the Society's founder and patron saint hang inside, and a wooden pergola shades the front walk under a red tile roof.
The store is open six days a week and closed Sundays. Every weekday has its own special, including a senior discount on Mondays and a storewide markdown on Fridays. Saturdays bring a mystery sale.
