NAM Resale is the resale store and donation center of Northwest Assistance Ministries in Houston, Texas. It's open on weekdays and closed on weekends. Donated goods are welcome there, and the organization keeps a list of the items it accepts. Gifts to the store are tax deductible, and donors can call to schedule a pickup.
The ministry behind the store is a nonprofit, community-based social service agency that runs many programs. Its help covers food, shelter, behavioral health, education, safety, and services for seniors and veterans. Its stated aim is to meet basic human needs through neighbors helping neighbors. A "NAM Boutique" sign stands beside the white-columned entrance of the organization's dark, multistory building, and the letters NAM are mounted near the roofline.
